I've been looking to do that myself. Does it affect shift feel?

No it doesn't affect the feel, just makes the shifter not so awkward to grab. Was never a fan of the original handle. It's just looks like it belongs now.

Drove it, waved to a JK, and they actually waved back...also saw an International Scout that was so killer it made me chub out...full cage, tube doors, on one tons and 42" beadlocks...it was beautiful. Was on my lunch break, so didn't have time to follow, LOL

Cleaned all of the dirt out of the bedliner and broke some necks driving around.

XJ Bad Track Bar Bolt? - YouTube

hopefully the hole isn't elongated
The TRE studs are tapered, so unless the nut is REALLY loose, the hole is elongated. Time to upgrade to double shear

Nice! I'm doing something similar with mine, except welding a bolt to the shifter rod instead of tapping the threads.

I have the Rock Krawler bomb proof track bar and it's really nice. I've used Iron rock offroad in the past and that one is top notch as well.

Bought a 242 from a WJ part-out. Its not HD but it was a cheap and I need a replacement differential so an obvious cheap fix.

Also bought a new HF 3-ton floor jack. On sale plus coupon discount for $77

I cursed and kicked at it when I got the dreaded "No Cranky-Cranky" when I twisted my key yesterday afternoon... I guess I used up my daily allotment of starts from running around all morning. The fun continues!
