While I was taking off the front bumper caps I noticed that my vac canister is destroyed. No wonder my HVAC was flipping between defrost and panel on its own. Anyone know of a good place to get a replacement? I'm surfing rockauto but I can't find it on their site.

I have one I'll ship to you. I'll take $10 plus shipping for it.

Mine's a 98 so I'd need the ball, yeah.

I have a local guy checking the junkyard for me tomorrow while he's there, otherwise I'll take you up on that.

Yep. Basically performs as advertised but it's not a miracle worker by any means. You need Billy Crystal for those. Those types of products are really for treating pitted surfaces if (for whatever reason) you can't sandblast them. For a small hole in the lower quarter panel you're far better off to just cut out the rot and deal with it traditionally.

(That's why there's a gap on both sides of the CB.) Then I had to notch the dash kit, and notch the dash bezel.

I literally duct taped the back of the CB to the bottom of the headunit. Then put it all back together. The CB is wedged tightly between the radio and AC controls so it's not going anywhere. Hit me up on FB and I'll send ya some more pictures off my phone.

Here's a better picture of it.

might want to rethink the way it mounts, that green tape appears to be blocking 90% of the vent holes on the top of your head unit. aka, if you listen to music loud, it will probably overheat.

I'd try using exhaust straps or something similar to screws on the side of the head unit and the side of the cb.

Yeah, I thought about that. I bet exhaust strap would do a good job. It also wouldn't block as much of the speaker on the CB.

I removed the tailpipe that was dangling from one lonely mount after it decided to separate itself from the exit of the muffler, via rust. i then hung the muffler with some bailing wire so it wouldn't pull what was left apart up by the cat and manifold. i gave this jeep many chances to kill its exhaust. the day after i order $400 in tires it decides to vomit everywhere. oh well. what's left of the exhaust is staying on until it falls off. i already "fixed" the aft connection on the cat because it had blown apart, once again, via rust.

still <3 my jeep.

Do they just pull off? Any pictures of the clips or is it glue or friction?
