I adjusted all four doors to try and reduce the wind noise. I have to say the doors look much better as their lined up nice.

I bought a new one last week after looking for the old one off and on for the last couple of months. Got the new one home and loaded and finished lubing the chassis and new u-joints and IMMEDIATELY found the other grease gun plus another one we hadn't seen in at least ten years.

Changed the wiper blades with Goodyear blades. I don't know if they're good, but it's what Costco had. Unfortunately they didn't have a 13 inch wiper blade for the rear window.

I also got a second 32GB memory card for my SJ4000 that I use as a dash cam.

My light bar arrives tomorrow. Hopefully it is delivered before I leave for Bryce Canyon. I don't have brackets or a wiring harness yet, so it won't get installed for at least a few days. Because I can't reach the vendor that makes the brackets I like, I'm leaning towards getting a roof rack to mount the light bar on. I'll put a rear facing light on the roof rack too.

Isn't that the way it always works, for me it is calking guns. Right now I can put my hands on 4 of them. That is because I don't need one at this moment, but s soon as I need one they will all go missing till I buy a new one and go to put it away

I shouldn't loose my grease gun it came with a mounting bracket and it is hanging off my tool box right now

bought a new fuel filter yesterday I was going to put it in today on the 89 cherokee but -8 this am. I can wait til it warms up some at least in the 30's.
May have to get a new fuel pump but haven't determined what problem is yet. wires filter or pump or fuse and too cold to even care. Ken

I dunno... we'll see. I'm being really cheap right now and I've definitely driven on tires in worse condition. I'll probably just go ahead and do it the wrong way to save money so I can get my new tires quicker

I do have a full-size spare and still have the factory donut as well, so it's not like I'm gonna end up really regretting that decision in the end if the tire does blow.

Had new water pump and thermostat installed in my little sweetheart. 97 ZJ. Water pump was dripping and didn't want to risk having it lose all it's cookies and be stranded somewhere with an overheating girl. Now she run a tad under 210 temperature wise. My 94 ZJ ran about 185 and must have had the 180 thermostat in her. It did seem to take forever to get the heater to pump out hot air though in the winter. Now the 97 pumps it out faster (or so it seems).

Salad, I loved your write up on engine oil. Funny and informative. But you did leave out one crucial use for the Rotella plastic jug when empty!!! I go to a water spring to get my water several times a month as I hate the water where I live. There was one old geezer there filling up his gallon ROTELLA jugs (must have had at least 2 dozen of them) along with some assorted anti-freeze jugs. And yes, he didnt look all there either. Drove an old farm truck that has seen better days. Wonder if his teeth all fell out? Moral....don't use your empty Rotella jugs for spring water storage.

Not today, but yesterday after greasing the front end I adjusted the steering box. Didn't take much, just a shade over a 1/4 turn. I also adjusted the serpentine belt to get rid of the gawd awful squeal.

Today I took it for a drive to my brother's place to drop off the stubby 5/8" wrench I borrowed to adjust the steering box. It drives so much nicer now that it isn't making all that noise and the play is gone from the steering.

i looked at mine sitting in the driveway w/ no rear bumper, cause ive been waiting 8 weeks for the one i ordered to show up. this sucks.
