Found a 8.25 29spline on Craigslist with 3.55 gears for $60 so I picked it up today. Plans are to have the carrier checked for tolerances, then if it's good get zj disk brakes, new diff cover, and a lunchbox. Now to track down a d30 with 3.55's for under $100

Greased up zerks.

Ordered 4 o2 sensors and 5-760 u joints.

Need to balance diveshaft hopefully this week and shell be good for another 222k miles.

ive been using this oil for over 25000 miles. I changed all of the gaskets and haven't had a leak of any sort going on a year now.

31's with a 5spd, 1988 with a 90 ecu, 703's and a custom exhaust. The diff will get all new bearings/seals before it goes in as long as the gears and carrier check out.

Sadly I haven't been doing as much work to it as its needed, but parts coming in this week. I did get the NSS changed today. Its nice having reverse lights again. Cleaned my old switch up as well just in case. Ball joints, pads, rotors, and u joints coming soon

You will like 31s with 3.55:1. It's awesome. Speedometer will be 15% off by the way.

Sounds like you need some 746s and a bored throttle body...
