Started the day with a no crank issue. Solved that by replacing some fuses. Then spent the rest of the morning removing grill and light frames, spraying black, and installing these fog lights from 1976 my GF's Dad had in the basement.

Doing inspection/ service on rear diff. Apparently someone has broken it before. I have Richmond stamped on the gear. Everything looked good. Pulled my axles and found my whine. Bad bearing. Got it replaced. Painted my cover for my little girl. Its been part of my theme. Gonna finish it tomorrow and make sure the whine is gone
Last week, I removed the intake manifold, exhaust manifold, valve cover, AC off the jeep to get it ready for the TUPY head swap.
Found that the intake manifold was cracked by PO.
Brought it to work and welded gobs of filler on it and ground it to make it look like factory.
Thursday, removed the head and cleaned the cylinders (one had very small light scoring)
Yesterday put on the new head.
Today I helped a friend install the SYE and rebuilt the double cardan driveshaft.
Did the oil change on my jeep with T6 oil
Painted the valve cover and gonna install it on the jeep soon.

Started it for the first time in nearly a month, then drove it up to my friend's shop where we're going to fix it up. Had to break it free in 4L on account of the surface rust on the brakes lol.
Very nerve-wracking ride. Every time I put the clutch down I couldn't stop my leg from shaking I was so nervous. But Mr Green Jeans made it there, uniframe just as cracked as when I left my driveway, and not a millimeter more! Though it does seem the exhaust fell down and the O2S wires rub on the DS, and nearly every U joint is dry.
Gobi ladder? I thought they only made those for going over the hatch. Very cool
Excellent! Grats! Very jealous.
Now that you're mature enough to own a house maybe you should reconsider those angry eyes, hmmmm?

Worked on my lift with a new friend. Jumped a few hurdles I couldn't alone and got most of it finished. All that's left now is the gen2 sway bar discos, track bar, steering stabilizer, and sye. Can't wait to be done with this thing and get back on the road.

Installed the putco harness and autopals today. Had a 90 minute drive home after dark tonight. I shouldn't have procrastinated getting this done. The improvement is amazing.
