Blown head gasket, major overheat

 

Hooked up the trans temp gauge back on.

 

Took the doors off for summer also put new headlights in so I dont have to run my off road lamps to get home again.

 

Topped off the fluids, cleaned the engine bay, removed the decals off the rear 1/4 window, used the winch to pull out 4 dead bushes

 

Took a nap in the back while the gf drove us through CT to her mom's birthday lunch.

Pretty brave. Despite the begging from both my father and my girlfriend, I am the only one who has driven the jeep in almost a year. (How long I've had it)

 

Little cutting, grinding, welding then bolting. Latches perfect, braces added, new and larger hardware as well. Off to powder coating tomorrow.

 

She woke me cuz, of course, the XJ decided to do something new that caused her a moment of breath holding...

 

Where in CT were you, just moved out of Danbury about a year ago.

 

Installed some new rear hatch lift supports..

 

Rear axle seal, oil.change, spark plugs, rear brakes

 

Full list of spring yard chores, then took the pup for a wheel across the field and a run in the woods. Once home again; found time to do a standard fluids and leak rates checks. Finished the afternoon off with a basic 672000 km oil/filter change.

 

Ummm have you aligned that to your jeep yet? Don't know if that'll work
