What did you do to your Cherokee today?
Got the old exhaust system chopped out this morning. Went fast & painless with the help of my bud's Sawzall. Used a wire wheel doodad in my drill to clean scaly rust around cut end of cat.converter where new muffler attaches. Loose fit the 2 pieces of my Borla exhaust then tightened everything and started the rig; checked for leaks, found a small one, re-adjusted everything, then donked the fasteners down. Let it idle for 10mins. per instructions on heat paint can. Will do the idle/cool-down thing again tomorrow morning and the paint should be cured.
Man... it sounds sooooo nice now
. Sweet throaty growl. Who says you need a V8 to sound cool?!? ->[check pics]
I will have to move the tailpipe down to accomodate the 1" Daystar SuperShackles when they show up & are put on. Stupid me - I didn't account for the lift sinking slightly due to increased weight of new heavy-duty rear bumper (D'oh!), so now I must compensate to level both ends up. No big deal, though.
I need to snap pics of my intake as well. Time for bed now... overtime tonight. Sucks, but helps pay for all these mods.

I tried for three hours to flush the cooling system on my 98 xj in an attempt to fix my heater. The blower motor works great but when you switch to heat it only gets mildly warm.
. Any suggestions would be excellent. Also I would love to know if anyone can tell me what stock gear ratios and axles my rig has. thanks

The heater core needs to be gently flushed out with water flowing into each end in turn so that you can flush and also backflush the core. Be very gentle with it. They are pretty delicate and to replace them is quite involved.
As to your axles the front is a D30 and the rear is either a D35 or a Cryco 8.25
Since you have an auto and assuming no regearing then you probably have 3.55:1 ratio.
When you have a question in the future then start your own thread as this should have been seperate.

tecumseh I forgot to say your transfercase may be either a 231 or a 242 depends on if you have a fulltime 4WD choice or not.

Tried the putting gas in mod.
Now my gauge no longer is screaming at me. EEEEEEEEEEEEE
It is pointing straight up. Is this normal? I only put in about a gazillion dollars.
Should I worry about this. And if YES, where can I take it to get checked out?

Only worry if you have money left over. That will tell you it is just not enough gas for your little red heep. Once you are flat broke and don't have two pennies to rub together will your heep be temporarily satisfied.

will post pics tomorrow
