Got about half the work done removing the Comanche's D30. Still need to get the track bar, driver side sway bar link, and the coils. I lined up a trade with my buddy Joe. He gets the MJ's HP30 for his TJ, and I get his Lock Right autolocker for the YJ's D30.
I continued my tradition of using 96xjclassic's vehicles as workbenches:

And yesterday I made room for activities by removing the rear bench.

Wheres the confusion? You say cuz they didnt have high mileage oil 5 years ago so it cant be good. Thats just dumb. Technology is always improving. Maybe they couldnt make oil any better for high mileage vehicles 5 years ago. Or they didnt have the additives that they have now.
Sure, but the problem that causes your CEL to appear is clearly still present, isn't it?

Last thing since this is what you did and not ask a question.
Have you read the code since resetting the battery. If yes and this is the same code then read this.

Ordered a Unity A-pillar spotlight for the XJ. Gonna be sweet having 245k candlepower that I can aim anywhere from the driver seat.
Wasn't terribly expensive either, about a buck fifty shipped for the light and XJ install kit. maybe I'll do the passenger side too at some point.
