Swapped out my 55w bulbs in my aux. lights for some 100w bulbs, upgraded fuse and wiring. Man, I thought my aux lights were bright before, it looks like it's daytime now!

A couple days ago (yeah I'm a little slow, haha!) Removed the front air dam and trimmed the bumpercaps.

Measured the differance in the height of my front coils,called ARB to complain,so they are sending me a "trim packer"to adjust the differance.We will see how it goes.

[QUOTE=superj;465650]why the airdam?

I decided the airdam (3" wide piece of plastic under the bumper) and the corresponding part of the bumper endcaps looked a little like ground effects. Now the front caps are at the same level with the rears, looks a lot better. Plus I wanted to show off the sexiest part of the XJ, the suspension.

usually though, the airdam is there to create a certain flow in the air as it is approaching your vehicle. it is usually set to direct air into a lower area of your radiator or create a low pressure area behind the dam to allow the air coming through te radiator to be pulled down instead of backing up behind the radiator and creating an inefficient system.
