Illusion cause the tire isn't symmetrical down the middle. The part that looks slick from that distance is actually near the inside as opposed to being the center.

Found out my chattering noise is my power steering pump. Yay. Now I hope I can source a new one tonight and have my friend do it tomorrow. Why is time always against me
