Yep, that's your vacuum ball. Also actuates cruise control.

Best way to deter theft...don't leave them anything to take
In all seriousness though, if you do your doors with a drop-in hinge, you can easily put them back on if you have to leave it parked for long periods of time. My doors come off and go back on in a matter of seconds. One of the best mods I've ever done, love it.

Agreed. With doors off, don't leave valuables in the Jeep. If you do, put them in the glovebox and lock it.

Really? Mine wasn't connected in my 95 so I threw it away with the bumper. My heater and a/c work fine lol

Yeah, all I could do was defrost. No matter what position the switch was in. Drove me crazy, but it still worked enough for me to wait that long to fix it :-/

They come from the factory lol, just cut the bottom 3rd off yours

That what I'm planning on doing. Ill just take all my tools and stuff out and then I won't be worried anymore. It just annoys me that we have to worry about people stealin at all.

Also, do you ever get bugged by the cops for having them off? Cause our cops here are ******
