About 2 weeks ago I moved the shock axle mounts up making the shocks nearly fully compressed so tonight I slapped together a upper shock mount relocation bar. It dramatically angled the shocks inward which worried me a little, but on the plus side i don't think it'll bottom out when stuffing the tire and it will give me more drop.
On the drive home from work I was expecting the back to bounce non-stop but I found that its just slightly more bouncy and soft in the rear than it was but I like it. makes for a little less stiff of a ride like it was.
When I get a chance I will be flex testing it to make sure the shocks wont bottom out and then I need to trail test them to make sure they will hold up.
Also tried on my new 35s but I found I need to do a little front fender trimming before I can actually run them. also need to find a 4.11 ring and pinion for my dana 30 before I should run them but they look bad*** So Much Wider
heres before
and heres after

Started a big job (for me) and one of the new ball joints is jacked. Taking it back tomorrow morning and hoping they have another in stock

Picked up an 8.25, mocked my AAL leafs on it, and threw some paint at it.
You get funny looks driving through town with a doorless XJ with an axle sticking between the seats
