I limped it home from 97 miles away in a snowstorm with a broken front supension arm flange from the axle housing. That was 3 nights ago. Took 3 hours, but the tough little thing kept going.

The place used to be a dump. Then during the Clinton era, it was built using grants from the beautify the inner city project. The course is literally in the middle of the hood. It was open for about 2 years. No money was made and it closed down. The owner made a deal with a few locals and we help keep the illegal dumping at bay and the crackheads off the land and they let us wheel there. It's a pretty cool place. Lots of steep hills and a few mud holes. It was my second time to go "wheelin". Got stuck once and had to be winched out. I got to pull three people out. All in all, minus the blown head gasket it was an awesome day and I look forward to the next time. Luckily the Harley is my DD, so the Jeep can sit till I have the cash to repair it.

Had a fun time changing my fuel filter (not) cleaned out the interior and added some tranny fluid. Didn't get to figure out my high idle problem or the screeching coming from underneath but oh we'll wheeling trip tomorrow!

Arrived in the white Amazon van this morning:

...Moog CC782's (supposedly 1 inch lift: we'll see). They're a hella lot beefier than they looked in the pix lol. IDK how they compare visually to the OEM coils. I am going to measure them (including pix!) against the OEM's and the JK Rubi coils that were included with the shocks though.
And got this far on my rear leaf-pack replace project (finished the passenger side Thursday night ...well, I would have finished, except for my screw up on the JK shocks mod's lol):

I have every intention of finishing the leaf part of the project tomorrow morning (slept in today, late start, yada-yada).
...coil replacement next weekend. Maybe lol. At which point, we'll see what-if-anything I still need to do to level the whole thing, get the shackle angle right, whatever.
