Cleaned it some more, doesn't look like a tornado hit the inside now.

Also parked next to another XJ at home Depot... Doesn't this rig belong to someone here? Looks familiar, just can't remember if from here or I've just seen it around a few times. custom Illinois plates, can't remember what they said.

Replace the fan clutch, thermostat, thermostat housing, heater control valve, both heater hoses and flushed the system 3 times. Then went to the car wash and pressure washed all the mud off from last weekend, then came home and washed it.

Oh, and went to Oreileys and exchanged the oil pressure gauge that was filling with oil.

Cool

My Brother calls me today & says: Today is the Jeep's Birthday! I say "what?" He explains that 22 years ago TODAY he drove the Jeep off the Dealers lot. She's got almost 250,000 miles & runs strong as the day is long.

So? It's a jeep. Run over the car. Don't mind that annoying screeching sound, that's normal.

Greased up the steering fittings because I was bored. Drove to osh to get some nylon spacers so my aux reverse lights wouldn't move to much. I need a spacer about 1-1/4" but all they had was 1" ones. So got that anddd they still wiggle a little bit. Not as much as before. Oh well it'll work for now.
