Gave it to my 16 y.o. daughter. I'm never home, anyway, and she needed wheels. She paid me back by hauling a bunch of trash to the dump in it. In our dump, you can "wheel" out to the burial site and back, and according to her mother, she took full advantage of the mud and off-road conditions.

Sigh. Little girl is all growed up....

Beat you to that one a couple of years ago!!!! Seriously though, I know that feeling... Change the cap and rotor, plugs, oil and other fluids as it is pretty close to being due.

Yesterday, figured out what was causing the front to vibrate at any speed from barely moving all the way to 75 MPH. Upper control arms have work themselves loose at the frame mounts. Probably never would have noticed it, but I broke the TRE on my track bar last weekend and did not recenter the axle properly when I replaced it. Being off center exagerated the vibes and let me know there was an issue.

Installed Smittybilt Push Bar (new item found on Ebay, local shop painted to match). Off-Road lights to come. ...pardon the current lack of a lift kit.

Man your Xj has a nice shine to it. A lift and some off road tires will really set it off.
