Good luck. This is when I was "pulling the rat's nest" out of the Camaro:

Over 200ft of hot wire, all either tucked up in the dash or hidden under the carpet.

He had installed a stereo and an Excalibur alarm system (with dangerous splices everywhere), and he took out the expensive components without mentioning it before I bought it. I spent 8 hours tracing and pulling wiring that was run direct to battery and mostly tucked under carpeting, out of sight.

Holy crap!
Idiots with tools, volume 2

I've already seen most of the wiring, its almost all original factory stuff. More than likely i'll just try and find a PROPER adapter for that stereo.

Went to start it and let the heat warm up before I went to get my girlfriend... turned the key... nothing. Tried jumping, nothing. Threw the battery charger on it, low. Had to borrow $115 from my mom and buy a autozone cheapie (at least it has a 2yr warranty). Threw it in, started up after a little cranking.

Oddly enough my CEL that I'm pretty sure was still the o2 after the cat, went away. I'm sure it'll come back.

I bet your radio presets went away, too. You cleared the computer when you unplugged the battery.

Ha! (Brain Fart) You smell that?

Yea, radio presets are gone. Worse than that, so are the audio settings... takes a minute to fix those...

Thank AMC for my eXcelon head unit with battery-stored settings.
