Or I make my own and save the 40 dollars and I' m well aware of how they go together but it would tweak the bracket

Why would I hunt and purchase something that I can weld up in my shop that is prob twice as strong? If I didn't have a shop a welder and parts Layin around sure I'd buy some.

If you intend on making shackles use some thick steel and brace it. Other wise spend the $ on shackels

I planned on it. I have a few chunks of 1/4 inch ill use.

Isn't the point if a forum to help people? Rather than **** talkin a guy that is building stuff in his garage. I've had lots of help so far but some people need to get off the computer and go do somethin productive.

We are trying to help you. Just buy shackles, they are cheap. Look at all three of our jeeps. Then tell us to get off the computer.
