Took my front drive shaft off because the axle side of it decided to let go of the U-joint end caps... What's a good upgrade?

If people whine about the peanuts being too salty on a flight, I don't ask "how long have you been a pilot?" It's about as equally stupid a question that has nothing to do with knowledge on the subject.

Just my 2 cents.............between the Honda and GM sides of the dealership where I work, we have about 2 dozen of those lifts and I can assure you, his XJ is correctly positioned and quite safe to stand under. The angle of the pic makes it look further back on the lift than it actually is. I've lifted my XJ many times and there have never been any balance issues.

 

At the dealership I work at the escalades and tahoes and suburbans all look like that too, some off those king cab long beds look even worse, but there all perfectly safe

 

Mines a 89 so the blue ring terminal goes to the starter relay then to everything else. The red goes to my amps. My frame/body ground hasn't cracked the negative. The new cables I got in November and the positive cracked within a month.

 

In the process of moving,just hooked up trailer I made from old boat trailer to a utility,I hate moving,hope this is last time,just bought mobile home,15 years and it will be mine

Finally did my floors...


Going to bed line it after Christmas.

 

Also cleaned the front carpet and seats. I've had it for 3 years now but the po destroyed everything as he used it as a work truck. I'll post before pics and after. The seats still look dirty I'm the after photos because of the way I laid them to dry, but I have gone back and cleaned them again.

I basically soaked them in shout and simple green and scrubbed it in . Then got a hot bucket of water and added laundry detergent, softener, shout and more simple green and scrubbed them down and then hit it with the power washer. (Carpet and seats).
I was kind of hoping I'd be able to take the skins off the seats to do the job but I'm Afraid I'd never get them back on snugly. I didn't like the idea of blasting the crud deeper Into the seat. But one day I know I'll put in some zj seats.

 

Washed the mud off in the rain. Making her ready to travel Christmas Eve. Cleaned the interior also. Here's a photo from today of it parked next to my dads jk.
