Drove to school. Threw 40 bucks at the pump and got me 3/4 a tank from e. got caught in a down pour at the local junk yard, didn't have the option of hiding out in a car since I had to be somewhere in 10 minutes. Rewired my factory electric fan.

Finally got around to putting the new battery in. Put the hold-down post into the vice and looked at the nut, I've PB Blasted that thing and given it a couple whacks with a 2 lb persuader and it looks like the post will snap before that nut's coming off. Ah well.
Also sorta put in my new air cleaner. It's higher flow than stock and I figured with all the holiday highway driving I might as well benefit from it, even if the actual plumbing to the cowl isn't in yet (and it's held in with zipties hahaha)

Got in it last night after work and decided to mess with one of my co-workers... his truck was backed into the spot right across from mine... so as soon as he got in and shut the door, I turned on the roof lights
"holy cow those are bright!" he says

Ha, reminds me when i went wheeling with mrfajita. Going back down the trail at night, he decided to turn his super bright driving lights on when he was behind me. Too bad i don't have rear facing lights
