This Saturday I change rotors, calipers, pads, shoes and hardware. My first brake job on any vehicle. Fingers crossed it goes smooth!!
Don't forget brake cleaner. Did my disk brakes a while back, busted my knuckles several because i didn't have the proper tool to reset the pistons (Used a 5inch C-Clamp, that ended horribly.) Took me 20 minutes to do one side, maybe 5 to do the other. Still haven't done my drum brakes though, since they don't need changing.

Actually, i do need to replace my bent auto adjuster...

Here's some photos from last nights mud. Some reason the passenger side didn't get as muddy as drivers

I see your jeep got the MAACO special. Horrible quality pain sprayed on an unprepped surface.

It actually fits the bumper great. If it is centered in the plate area, the drum follows the centerline of the Jeep. Unfortunately the mounting holes are about 3-4 inches to the left.

I think the mounting holes were designed around Warn winches.

Finally was able to lay down my new headliner. Need to get a few bubbles out and it should be good.

Me too. I had to cut part of the top 90* fold off the front piece where the drum is (that's the widest part of the winch) to get the winch to line up. If I had moved it back and drilled new holes, I think it would have interfered with the grill.
I also had to make a bracket to rotate the solenoid box 90 degrees to keep from having to cut the grill. I may still mount it under the hood someday. (Not that JCR had anything to do with the solenoid fitting issues. They can't accomodate every different setup)

Junkyard headliner with bonus rear speakers and upgraded center overhead light. The headliner had a few stains so the areas of discoloration are where I cleaned them and they have not dried yet. Junkyard rear window assemblies, driver's and passenger rear. I have power at the motors so I know the current assemblies are bad.

Looks good. What did you use for adhesive?

Just headliner adhesive from autozone. The material is nylon ripstop fabric so it didn't take a lot of adhesive.

Mine is that plus 1/4" of bondo on the rear quarter panel. Surprisingly good bondo job though, not much chipping from hitting rocks and my buddy and I always kick it to see if it will crack more.

Anyway today I got the last few parts I need to get my air system at least ready for winter (good enough to fill tires after 8-12 psi snow wheeling)

What is the right tool for this? I helped a friend do brakes and he wedged a hammer claw between the rotor surface and the caliper. That seemed totally "wrong".
