Niiice

Resumed work on the 8.25. All remnants of the drum brakes gone, pounded out the studs, and started the loong cleaning process. I'd say I'm maybe 50% done the top lol. Left the diff cover on to keep out the junk

I need to find something smaller than my 4.5" angle grinder's wire brush to get into those small crevices. All the gunk in there is still wet from spraying brake cleaner

Regular plate. Once the blue/white ones are gone, this is what you get. Some counties still have a few of the old ones left.

A member by the name of Northwoods snowman has a Superb write up on how to fix this. This is a common XJ problem.

Murdered my GPS in it. The stupid ****ing suctioncup mount failed and the GPS fell, hanging by it's cord. Opened the door to get in, didn't see the GPS in the jamb and slammed the door on it.

Whole thing is bent now. And Garmin doesn't cover accidental damage in its warranty.

Parked the Cherokee last night, No start this morning. Replaced the CrankPositionSensor. What a pain in the **** to get to. A "GOOD" 11mm swivel socket woulda made the job so much easier. Its running like a top now.

I hope that isn't the paperclip 'fix.' That's a fire hazard. I got lucky with my '01. A can of compressed air to clean out the 11 year buildup of dust, crumbs, and bugs, and it worked like new.
