Serpentine belt slid off pulleys when the under hood light decided to finally fall and get in the belts way, so i pulled into the car wash parking lot where everyone look3d at me like wtf as i had steam and fluid pouring out the overflow from overheating...fixed her up in 20 mins amd right back on the road

Installed correct track bar fastener at axle tube end - didn't trust the (temporary) grade 8 stainless hardware for suspension fastener. Thanking the Jeep gods that I didn't break the new factory bolt this time.

Still searching for source of popping sound. Could not move any of the four bolts at the mounting bracket to the track bar ball joint end. I still feel convinced that's the source of the steering "pop".

Inspected/greased all front end fittings. Inspected and adjusted rear brake assemblies. Those self adjuster cables just don't do their job - their lengths must be out of spec or something.

Taking it for a short cruise next. Will let a mechanic (wizard) friend have a look about. His observations and advice are always spot-on.

It's going to be in the low 80s all week and not raining for a change. Threw the doors in my storage unit.

I had one already for an old mattress and some boxes. Naturally it started accumulating Jeep parts so I threw the other crap out and now it holds all my parts.

Mine was storing my bed cap and drop-in liner til I sold them, but I ended up storing a bunch of other parts in there. It was gonna be a one-month thing, but it's too convenient to lose. I don't wanna carry my doors up to my third floor apartment.
