Just a skinned knee. Amazingly, he got it while i was down there. Kid can avoid getting run over by a juggernaught chevy then skins his knee on the sidewalk. I can't help but laugh, lol. I told the cops that this is always happening, they said they will forward the accident report to Child services.

Also, grats on the 20 weeks! Don't be a deadbeat like my neighbors!

Default Nut and Bolt Boondoggles

Still not done right yet. As a band-aid solution, I used a grade 8 stainless set-up but stripped it during install. Backed it up with a second nut so I could drive on it for a couple days. Never satisfied - I must be some kind of masochist - so I ordered (Monday) and received (Tuesday) factory parts ($15 for nut w/retainer and $3 for bolt). Frustrating fight last night, removing the stripped hardware, but successful. Installed factory hardware and snapped the bolt while torquing (per FSM procedure) to 74 ft-lbs (just shoot me now). Analyzed hardware and found the nut had cross-threaded due to a burr in the bolt threads at about halfway down the bolt. Thankfully, the grade 8 stainless hardware came two-to-the-pack. Installed this second band-aid without stripping it and ordered another set of factory hardware. Maybe I can get the next set for free - whether it's out of pity for my stupidity or because the hardware was defective (tough to prove that now but we'll see how it goes when I talk with my stealership parts guy and show him the saved parts).

Replaced inner tie rod, waiting to get a 36mm socket so I can finish replacing the passenger wheel bearing assembly.

Wait, now it's called what did you do WITH your Cherokee? I understand the changing of the word Jeep to Cherokee, but changing TO to the word WITH makes it a whole different topic, doesnt it?

I climbed over a Prius WITH my Cherokee is much different than "I swapped some ZJ leather seats into my Cherokee". seat swap/mods are done TO it.

Friggin Allenwhatthehelleverhisnameis......always makin drama!
