Well I started my Jeep weekend around 5pm today and bought a 262 dollar NSS and went to install and hoped on jeep forum to see if I could by-pass the neutral safety switch and what do you know! When you connect the 2 black wires on the harness it grounds them out and my computer thinks its in park!! Yay! Next started prep work for this weekend tear down!!!! Pulled all carpet out along with seats! Found some gnarly holes ima repair with street signs. Now tomorrow is gonna be fun im going to slap on my power steering brace from rustys along with some jks frame stiffeners for the power steering box, if y'all didn't know I recently cracked the uni- body right next to the box like most xjs do once big tires are added its bad but it'll be fixed.
Then we start on my over the knuckle steering kit and my new shocks and sway bar discos, I decided to run sways back on the road for now I always had em discoed and now I feel it safer with it attached on paved roads lol then the next thing is grind down whole frame/ uni body rails and weld on the whole length frame stiffeners I received from TnT customs, then make sure my doors fit back in place after all said n done I really beat my jeep this last trip and it's costin me big time lol keep ya posted

people in this thread post about YJs.
Today I finished the cut and fold on the factory tire slicer pinch welds in the front fenders and flex tested. Very slight rear rub and a little up front when turning at full flex. Doesn't rub on any sharp bits though so I won't worry about it!

Took the XJ for a fun run in 2wd at Slaughterhouse Gulch doing aywhere from 20-50 mph and catching about 4ft of air a few times ...then had the cops called on me by some campers who set up camp right next to the road/trail for running up/down one stretch of the trail a few times at 50mph and jumping it a few feet off the ground ...Then We ...THE COPS AND I ...re-marked how beefy my XJ was and how much cooler it is than a TJ-WRANGLER ...lol..LOL...LOL...

I got a wild hair today and decided to devote my final day before moving to school to painting the jeep. I spent all day prepping and taping off for a ten minute spray of bedliner. I'll post pictures tomorrow of the end result. I ended up just using a ceiling texture sprayer to spray it on.... worked like a dream.
