Cheaper to go get a aftermarket alarm installed.

junkyard fun lotsa cool stuff
Replaced the nasty looking headliner I had (nothing but foam and fiberglass stalagmites) with a surprisingly new looking one out of a '96. Fits snug as a bug, minus the spot where the rear shoulder strap mounts should be (not an option on '92s - mine). Also snagged a rear ceiling mount speaker box for kicks. Stock roof rack bars, rear hatch hydraulic arms and a few other cosmetic items all for 25 bucks. Had considered recovering the old headliner but on inspection noted the entire thing was pooh (bent and gouged in places) so considering the price for recovering would've exceeded what I paid at the junkyard, it's been a good find.

Traded two old 33" BFG tires and some other junk for two tow recovery d-rings and their mounts. Also mounted an old ammo can in the trunk for a lock box when there arent any doors.

Well I paid someone to do it. I might bleed to death in my driveway. Guy said he had a hell of a time with rear shackle bolts.

Adjusted the rear bumper that i installed yesterday.. Definatly better than what i had on there and matches my front bumper.. Now i need to either get a hitch or make up a strong enough gas tank skid to keep the imports out from under me and protect my gas tank offroad.. Any advice from anyone? Do you think a heavy duty gas tank skid would protect my tank from a low speed impact by a low rider ?

You can use a ZJ skid. You just have to trim off one lip with an angle grinder. If you get an XJ skid, it's bolt-on. Market value for a used one is usually around $50 from what I've seen.
