Ok gotcha about the paint, thanks! For the fan.... idk lol i need to think on that... I guess that if you could find a way to remove the signal going to the PCM from either the AC or the Temp sender that would work cause then it wouldnt know whats going on but im not sure on what that would do. I also dont know how to wire that up with a SPDT right know, like what to do with that other wire.

yea the only way I can think is to cut the PCM wire and run it back into the cab, then back out to the fan. I could splice the out wires together so either pole could give it power, but i could still disconnect both poles from the power source

Sorted my lack of tail lights after getting pulled, over by the police this morning from work. turned out it was a blown fuse.

then spent several hours sorting out the dodgy flaking chrome finish on the wrangler 5 spokes that was fitted on the XJ when I got it.Its amazing what a tin of paint stripper, a wire brush on a power drill and a can of silver hammered finish paint can do.

Couldn't you wire it normally, then add an inline kill switch?

Yeah i think that would work but idk what the PCM would do, like if the PCM couldn't work without a signal but i dont think so... I know you could do it with two switches but i think 1 like you said will work. I dont have a need to do what you suggested but try it out and let me know what happens!!

Wd40 wont do anything for the moisture it got covered in...its a penetrating grease, not an evaporative substance. >.<

Greasey WD isn't easy to get completely off. Best bet is degrease. I would say power wash the hell out of it but don't wanna do that to the engine. Maybe some dawn in a squirt bottle? Gets my hands clean after tinkering.

no, it's a water displacement agent...not a penetrating oil
