split the lense in two with a razor knife, added the led strip, drilled a hole in the housing for the wires and tapped into the stock wiring and glued the two halfs back together with weld-on

Found this, and fixed it the best I could. Gotta love it!

Ya mine did the same thing and I just found a great fix for it that left it looking like new and no one can tell the difference. It is so strong that my wife put a 6 pack on it the other day on accident and it held up just fine.

I got the jeeps plastic all shined up and protected the other day as well as cleaned the intake.

No ford front end on my jeep? If you are talking steering it is The Rock Krawler setup.

UGH! Pass side? this just happened to me last week..... didnt feel like tackling it myself, so its in the shop. Also, if i was to pull the motor, I'd be VERY tempted to make it faster as well! this way it will be back on the road asap i guess....gl man!

Not much louder than before definately hear more than I used to with the carpet. As for the heat.. I don't notice it on the driver side so much but it gets pretty hot to the touch down the center.

Can't recall how long it took me to remove the carpet..and the trunk had been done for a while now but I probably spent about 8 hours on the area in the pic but its got 4 coats and I had to patch a minor rust spot under the passenger seat.

Gave it a much needed bath (yes i'm one of those guys that wheels their rig, but still likes it to look good); pulled the hub assemblies (new ones will be in tomorrow); pulled the rear driveshaft for new u-joints; painted the coils silver (used to be black).
