And two full cans during the actual install.
The stuff works to a degree. Its just not the miracle spray that people make it out to be.

I feel very lucky living in the high desert of Nevada and having an XJ that spent most of it's life in the southern Utah desert! I can loosen ANY bolt you ask me to without a problem! I just changed the rear springs and shocks, and it was so easy you could not believe it!

I do know that when I was changing my leaf springs, I was having a hell of a time... and really irritated that I couldn't find my PB Blaster... I got the one side off after a few hours of trying. I knew I had that can somewhere so I looked again and found it. I sprayed both bolts generously, tapped on them both with a hammer. Walked inside to use the bahtroom and get a drink... finished the drink and wrenched of both bolts in somewhere under 20 minutes.
PB does work... but if you have bolts that are very rusted or corroded, there's not really anything that's going to free them up that won't also weaken them and make them break... if a rusted bolt is gonna break, it's gonna break.... but that's just my opinion

You guys ever try using a little less? That stuff is very effective, I didn't read anything in the MSDS that indicates that it's a corrosive, but still... I'm no chemistry major.

yea I used a lot of acetylene doing my lift last weekend. small tip for the tight spaces, big tip for the big bolts, and cutting tip for a few applications(just cut the lwer control arm mounts right off with the lca's still attached :P)

PB is okay, but aero kroil is where it's at. Spray it, leave it, and when you come back it will fall apart.
I get it at bearing distributors, but you can also get it direct from Kano labs.
