Those DPG plates?

BTW they're backwards - they need to go on top of the OEM anti-warp plate (with the curved sides). The sharp edges of the bumpstop plates will cause some huge stress points in your leaf springs

I love the Kenwood grilles, but my Jeep's already been broken into once, and I live in the ghetto lol
I have 5.25" MTX Thunderdomes in my doors, but I snapped the trim back on over them so you can't tell.

Where couldn't you fit them? On the soundbar or the hatch?

I have an '01, so my soundbar is built into the headliner. I just pop off the plastic grilles and swap speakers. I could put the stock covers back on without the Kenwood grilles on, but the cone rubbed. When I did put the Kenwood grilles on, the stock covers wouldn't clip into place.

Oh yea I can see that being a pain, I was surprised at how heavy the speakers were and how out dated. The sound bar still had the original speakers with click on plugs that I had to cut and find the ground for and the other speakers were from 2003 but heavy and blown many years ago probably by the last owner. The new sony and kenwoods defiantly make a huge difference in sound quality

found out the crack that i had repaired in my head gave up... not the head gasket. so theres a few hundred in port work gone down the drain.

time to go bigger and better with my other head. bigger valves, more porting.

and today i found a ford 8.8 and D35 built, 4.58 gears aussie lockers and chromoly shafts and rear discs. friend of a friend says hell give me a deal. then says $500!!!!!!!!! holy crap. theyre mine next paycheck.

There from diybeadlocks.com.

I havent seen anyone run them ontop of the factory plate. I just called diybeadlocks and DPG and they both said that they can be ran with or without the factory plate. JKS's u-bolt plates dont have that curved edge either. Heres a thread from another forum and nobody has the new plate ontop of the old one.

my rear hatch interior panel had been rattling like crazy.

So I put some thread inserts in there (kind with machine screw threads inside, and teeth for drywall on the outside)

I put them in the lower corners and on the upper edge, then some big washers and some bolts. Thing doesnt move at all anymore, BYE BYE sqeaks
