They are definitely relics but for the price, I couldn't say no. They are in great shape, 75% tread, very minimal checking. I would have preferred something 12.5 wide but I couldn't afford $700+ right now.

my rear axle seal blew yesterday. had to drive all over to get everything I needed, not a single auto parts store had the diff gasket, the seal, and the fluid all in stock.
no wonder my diff was leaking, the idiot who installed the diff cover used RTV only then didnt let it cure and tightened the hell out of it, most of the RTV was squished out.

Well considering that's what your supposed to do... the cherokees didn't have a gasket when they came from the dealer. The dealer used RTV also. What the PO probably failed to do was tighten then let it sit for the hour and then add fluid. The PO might has tightened and then immediately added fluid. Your supposed to tighten the diff cover down right away. How else would the RTV get into the small defects/divots/craters some have in the carrier housing and the cover?

I made the best of my long holiday weekend by swapping my intake for the 99+ intake and power steering pump, hooked up my auto dimming rear view mirror, replaced the drivers door window switches, rewired my sub woofer with larger gage wire, repaired the rear lower control arm bushings, and cleaned a bunch of old paper work and crap out of the center consol.
