Been driving it all week cuz over the weekend the wifes tj had the upper control arm lount rip off the frame so i am waiting on parts and my grand has a power steering leak and a lot of slop in the box so waiting on a new box. If the xj goes down i will have to bring my old toy out of retirement and drive it. Its been in the back shop for 4 and a half yrs since it was moved.
What a way to start the new year.

Since I have zero recovery points on the front of my XJ, I pulled the trigger on this:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/290654635105...#ht_2643wt_698
Was the cheapest I could find. There was one that was $3 cheaper, but they wanted like $40 to ship it.I pulled up a video on install as well:
Seems easy enough. Wont need a separate winch bumper now either. Just gotta find a winch plate with provisions for a hitch...any suggestions?
Not quite ready for the Winch purchase yet,but would like to get some ideas.

She needed a good scrub so during lunch I took advantage of the nice weather and gave her a power wash and wheel/rim clean. I'll detail it when spring hits.

...man I need to lift this and put some bigger wheels on it....geez
