I'd just take it in to the dealer and tell them that there is a recall. They'll do their thing and you should be fine. With my Cat, they initially told me they'd charge if there was welding
. When I told them there wasn't so don't charge, they called later saying the muffler was shot so there will be charges
. Screw that. I'll deal with what goes behind the Cat on my own. The moral of this story is to make sure they only deal with the recall and tell them they can't do any service that they are going to charge for. Keep them honest. I know Chrystler is in trouble, but I'm not going to help them by getting worked over. Let us know how it goes.

UPDATE ; Got a reply from Chrysler LLC today with good news

They tell me they are happy to confirm that the work has not been done and to go to the nearest Jeep stealer and arrange for an inspection of the work to be done. AND the recall services are performed FREE of charge

That would be this Friday.
Thanks Guy's, this would not have happend if it hadn't been for this site.

Started it up.
Turned on the flux capacitor heat machine.
Drove to work.
Turned off the flux capacitor heat machine.
Turned off jeep.
(8 hours later)
Started it up.
Turned on wipers.
Turned on rear wipers.
Drove home.
Turned off both wipers.
Turned off jeep.
Locked doors.
That's about it.

Got tired of "Lil Red" marking his territory.
Went to A/Z and got a new valve cover gasket.
Discovered that he has a thirst for tranny fluid too.
Where is it going?
No clue. But I did see some ultra-copper around the transpan and the ever popular wetness.
Valve cover tomorrow.
Perhaps tranny pan this w/e
Bit the bullet and decided to give Lil Red a set of A-pillar light mounts.
Started prepping and snapping more pics.
Thanks to Clay's help and input, these will be mounted at the lower location.
And thanks to a materials ordering mix-up, there just MAY be snorkel-friendly A-pillar mounts coming.
Pics to come.

Dropped mine off at the shop to have my air conditioning and radiator fan, as well as the evap purge solenoid problems resolved. I think it's an electrical problem. Anything beyond fuses is beyond my know-how.
