You can start it either way. But I didn't take the steering lock out, so yeah u need the key. Either way I still think its really cool.

Went out for some night wheeling last night. Ripped off a fender in the process. Good times.

 

did u disconnect the neg term yet? mine comes on my 2000 everytime i wheel, unhook the negative terminal, and she leaves no trace!

 

Picked up the jeep already all the terminals on the back of the fuse box were corroded so got that fixed now it's getting detailed with mothers

 

just tried, no luck.

 

Bought ruffstuff 8.8 swap parts and diff cover today .. Ohhh yeahh

 

Lol I was kinda sad to see it go but it sure was fun running it over

 

Drove to work and then on the way home it started to pour and flood. So being an xj you know I aimed for the flooded. Part of the lane on the expressway. Best part, an ac*ra mdx pos was scared to drive in a lil water and went I to the next lane and came back in.

Also put some washer fluid in and change my broken MAP sensor vac line with some 5/32" line. No more black tape to hold it together

 

Ya it looked fun haha
