Hit a hawk on the way into the city today, made one big thump on the windshield. No scratches or chips in it though Put her through some mud for the last time this summer, been raining all day and I got the rest of the week off of work. Pretty good day

I have bad wiring to my door speakers (don't we all?) and I like the idea of this..especially if you manage to stuff those 6x9s into the soundbars. Pics?

Jeepster, 10 points for the hawk. I pegged a finch head-first at 80 a few weeks ago and it chipped my windshield. Had a terror moment on the way to work today as a pidgeon flew up in front of me, but I think my bumper got him.

Try dodging a loose tire from a trailer in front of you at 75 mph on I-10 in traffic no where to go really got lucky it bounced over the top and a semi killed it. couple inches taller it would have been my roof.

yesterday a chevy dually had the entire front drivers tire / rim combo fly off on the highway, bounced over the K-wall and hit the guy behind me in the windshield...still not sure how it happened with all the brake cables and such, but i guess at 75 it just tears off, no one was hurt amazingly
