spent 2 hours yesterday at crazy rays to find nothing i wanted. i did, however, find what i NEEDED, which was a new oil fill cap, and a new thermostat housing. i pity the poor xj i took them off of...149XXX miles on it, not in an accident, it was just dead. and i see why...it took me an hour to clean all the sludge off and out of the thermostat housing...how much more was in the engine... -_-;;

I wanted to work on the XJ this morning.
Replace bushings in the front and change the rear carrier to a Trac-Lok that
UPS delivered yesterday.
Guess what Oreillys and Autozone both suck goat *****.
I found one pair of lower front bushings, no swaybar end link bushings, and I needed a brake hardware kit for the rear, no dice. Not in stock....
There was over a million XJ's built and WTF can't the parts stores keep crap in stock. Of course I get the same story, we can have it Tuesday.....
This just crapola......
You would think with all the friggen wranglers and xj's and zj's running around here they would have a few things in stock.
Guess I'll just replace the bushings on the lower left side and get the others next weekend or something.
