Default what could i do

I just got a 2001 jeep cherokee sport. i am planning on lifting it in the future of the future and im just wondering if 3.5" lift would work on 33s with it or would it be to close...or should i just go with a 4" lift with 33s. let me know my friends

If you have aftermarket rims with good backspacing, and you don't mind trimming your fenders, 33s will fit on 3".

Massive amounts of trimming to fit 33's on a 3.5" lift....and proper bumps stops too.

Go with a 4.5" lift.

im just worried of it being to tall. im trying to go for a tanky kind of look..with 33s because i already have them. my friend has a 4.5 with 33s and it looks like i could push it over. but i just got it and i dont know the can and cants. i appreciate a'the help and information.

I have a 4.5" on 31's with no swaybars. It's harder to tip than my friend's xj on 3". His springs are just that much softer than mine. Mine's pretty damn stable actually.

I have an old, settled BDS 3" lift, and I can clear 33s by just removing flares.

Pics will be coming as soon as I have the cash to drop on a new set.
