I'm fabing a bumper and it looks tacky just hang in there. Do I need this or what is it

yeah its part of your vacuum system keep it, relocate to under your hood.

But you may run into air duct and heater issues if you do that.

Just relocate it.

Yup - mine was disconnected and it will disable vent controls for heat and AC. Find somewhere else for it...

Almost drilled into it when mounting my lights. How difficult is it to relocate it?

nah, i had those problems way before i cut n plugged the line...
it just depends on the rig i guess

Mine had wholes in it mabe thats why only the defrost works

Mine took literally 5 minutes to relocate.

There is no need to get rid of it completely.

Mine had holes in it and I had to plug the holes so my heater would work properly. I have looked for a replacement but all the ones at junkyards that are the same have the same holes in them as mine. Can I just use one that has the right vacume hose connection but is a differnt size? Mine is the larger size and I have seen other vacume resiviors that are smaller but I didnt know if it would work since its like half the size.
