I think I am going to go with rustoleum. Can I use that on the panels as well or should I use paint. I want an all black interior.

personally i think all types will work well for the interior as it doesnt get abuse from the elements so they should all last very long i have the rustolium on mine now has been for a year and a half and its now just starting to flake off but nothing a little touch up wont fix

its really nice for when u get mud and water inside cuz u dont really have to wash anything just drain the floor pans and ur done. cleanin is easy just wait till mud is dry and use a broom and ur done. only down fall is it can be cold in winter atleast in chicago but in summer my doors are off majority of the time so i dont notice the heat. it is a great mod tho

You can get bedliner thats not black. That would be my only concern.

Why would bedliner cause the interior to be colder in the winter?

there is no carpet to insolate the interior and keep heat in, so ur feet are against sheet metal which gets cold in the winter and i have rubber floor mats in and my feet go numb sometimes cuz its so cold even with my heat blasting

Put the carpet back in.

I didn't even have a floor last winter. And I have no heat or defrost period. It wasn't bad.

Heh, and I am a bit further north.

there would be no point to put carpet back in if u just bedlined it. it was below 0 most of the winter and i got hit bad by the chicago blizzard and many before and after that and it was very cold on my feet even with boots on.
