Went wheeling with my buddy who has a 2000 f150 lifted 2 inches with 32's and he has a 5.4 and his dad who has a 2006 tundra that has the 5.7 not lifted or anything just bfg rugged terrians. Well we found a mud hole and the tundra got stock and the f150 almost got stuck. My jeep that is stock height with 31's went through it like it was nothing. Didnt even come close to getting stuck. Just felt like bragging that my jeep went through it no problem.

Those BFG rugged trails are just street tires, no wonder he got stuck.
Good job on showing those guys up.

nice! haha
similar situation, had a friend get a blazer stuck in a big puddle. i pulled him out, then just for the hell of it threw it into 4w to see if i could make it...first attempt made it right through. the only issue was the puddle got so deep in the middle, i had muddy water come in. had to cut away the carpet
but successfully drilled "drain" holes and i use bolts to plug. and i have them covered with some decent rubber mats to keep an appealing cosmetic look.

not really interested in raising if it costs a lot...

with my 3" lift i already had a set of 31x1050 tires and bought a used set of american racing outlaw II. it made the width alot wider. you can check out the pic link below

no you wont need to get a bigger rim right now you are running 15x7 size rim if its stock and you can fit up to 35s i beleive on stock rims. if your staying stock and fitting 31s youll need to trim a little bit. maybe go with some 235x75x15 all terrain or mud tires no rubbing. if not maybe a small budget boost lift or bastard pack for cheap so you can lift it an inch or 2 and fit your 31s

backspacing on the stock rim is to high, 31's will rub the lower control arm when you turn the wheel all the way, unless you get some rims with a lower back spacing. Jegs has Crager Soft 8's with a 4" backspacing for around 50 bucks a piece.
