Which water pump? o.O

Hey guys im getting ready to make a parts run to napa. And they offer 2 water pumps that are pretty different and im confused.

And also the cooling system is closed loop ive noticed. To flush it it would be the same but instead of putting the spray valve in the raditor id just removed the lower radiator hose and put the t in the lower heater hose?

What is the procedure to fill it back up?

TFW 42004 is a standard rotation.

TFW 42000 is a reverse rotation, you need a reverse rotation pump.
When you remove yours it should have an R stamped on the impeller.

Whatever you choose, don't over tighten the belt... that will kill any pump. I think people like to blame the pump when it's operator error half the time.

I went with a premium Murray from O'Reilly... so far so good...not many miles though.
