want to bedline my jeep
ive been reading and doing my hw but have some questions. i want to rip up the carpet and put down some bed lining. i havnt ripped up the carpet yet to see how bad the rust is if any and if there is im planning on gettting rid of it using that por15 ppl keep talking about. it is my daily driver so should i put some kind of mat in between the floor and the lining seeing as i do drive on the high way with it? idk how loud it is with out the carpet. and what do you guys recommend using for products? all help is appreciated thanks

I took mine down to bar metal using 36 grit sand paper. Repaired any rust put sean sealer on my welds and cleaned everything with acetone. Then painted with self etching primer. I let that dry then clean the primer again with acetone. I also masked everything but you might not have to if it is spray on. Once cleaned and masked I sprayed the liner and let dry. Looks great!

i did this myself back a few months. i didnt do that much fo prep besides sanding it down removed rust spots, and taped off the edges of my trim and whatnot. it was well worth what work i put into it. there aint too much more noise, exept for when your on a gravel road and your tires sling up rocks on your under carrige. but you also might want to put down some engine enamel on it too if your bedliner is gonna be real gritty. its not necessary, but it makes it 10x easier to clean.
