I am looking for a '99 or something close to that, does anyone have any words of wisdom for me, or can point me to a good discussion for purchasing a Cherokee? I have owned a Wrangler, but not a Cherokee. I am a bit surprised that most appear to be automatic. It will be a daily driver. Also, what is the best repair manual to buy? I like to do my own maintenance and repair work.

I am really looking forward to having a new (used) ride.
