So needless to say i had to stop to show off my xj power! Lol took my strap out and tugged on that sucker for a minute but i eventually got him out with my open diffs front and back and him sitting to the side watching as his 2wd 1500 eased on up the hill. Funny thing was 1) a huge f250 drove by didn't slow down 2) suv cop passed by and didn't slow down 3) dude asked if my jeep was 4 wheel drive when i stopped to help him?!?! 4.5 lift, bighorn mudders, and offroad lights! "is that jeep 4wd?" you got to be kidding me!! :wallbash: hahahaha

Haha did you say "is that truck 4 wheel drive?"

The title did'nt say XJ specific so I hope this counts. After I lifted my old TJ and put the 33's on it, while on my way to work I could'nt resist seeing if I could "Urban crawl" over a taller than average island (about 8-10" and squared off, not like most islands) rather than taking the longer way around. Went right over it and into the parking lot at work, "Oh look, pretty red and blue lights, I hope their taking my boss to jail!", turns out they were'nt. The cop asked me why I jumped the island, I explained the lift and bigger tires and told him I just wondered if I could drive over it. We did the whole license and reg. thing, he walked back to his car, came back in a few, handed my my info and told me, "you know now, don't let me catch you doing it again". Yes sir! As much as I want to see if the XJ will do it, I always picture that cop sitting somewhere waiting for me. "Oh look! You again, please step out of the vehicle."

During my high school days, I played lacrosse. One day, there was a thunderstorm with some lightning. I was sure the game was canceled. I was being lazy and drove my buddies in my XJ up onto the practice football field next to the lacrosse field. I wanted to talk to my coach to see what time the next practice would be. The practice football field looked like a swamp. I drove 2wd through there and eventually got stuck. I told my buddies not to worry and kicked the 4x4 on. I pulled myself out and it was fun driving through all that mud. I decided to go mudding through that football field. That field was destroyed when I was done and I almost got kicked out of high school for that!

once, when it snowed one year in north texas, we did donuts on the football field over christmas break. we also went up and down "the hill", a tall sloping hill that was normally flower filled. boy, was the school pissed when christmas break was over. it went out that when they found out who did it, that person would be kicked out of school. luckily it was just me and a buddy so we never said a word. the only thing that could've possibly given us away is there was a manhole in one spot between the football field and the hill and i hit it while doing a donut and took a chunk out of the concrete barrier. it also took a chunk out of my rim.

oh well, it was fun
