What's the difference in shock types? From gas to twin tube to mono tube to reservoir or what ever. I want good shocks that will allow a good ride but with most parts now adays there as so many different options.... So can someone please help with the confusion...

 

I've posted the same question on a few forums, and never really got any real answers. I am subscribing to this thread in hopes someone with some knowledge chimes in.

 

Yea I got buddy with reservoir shocks on his ford with 40s then mono tube on his yj on 35s. I just don't know which is better or even worth it cause the ones on his ford were 250 a piece and he has 8
