On my sons 2000 Cherokee Sport the turn signals are not working but the emergency flashers are. Are there two separate flashers or a relay or could it be the turn signal switch assy itself? Thanks.

Is there 1 1" round cannister on your fuse block under the dash, or two? If you have one, it does double-duty, if there are two then the circuits are split (and you can figure out which one is which by turning your hazzards on and feeling which flasher is ticking. Or replace them both outright - stock "thermal" replacements should be a few bucks each.)

The two circuits should be on separate fuses, and that would be printed on the fuse block proper, so you'd just need a flashlight while you're under there.
