Default truck to haul my jeep

ok heres my situation im getting a settlement check in the mail soon from a car accident and i was looking into getting a truck and trailer to haul my jeep since i plan to travel with it and dont want to drive the jeep the far distances. what would be a good truck and trailer to get? im looking to spend no more then 5000. thanks in advance.

you can spend the whole 5000 on a good trailer, though if that's your limit try and find a 2500 series truck with a v8 or diesel and keep it under $2500 so you can go out and get a newer trailer (cheep trailers are never a good idea)

late 90's or early 90's F150 or Z71 4.6 or 5.7 Ford be better prolly z71 trans overheat easy

a early 90's ford f150 or f250 would be a good choice,thatll save you money for a good trailer,anythin but chevy really lol

mid 90s 1500 or 2500, buy a chevy, run great, easy to find parts. I think you should not buy a Dodge, or late 90's ford, those things gave ford a bad name, they are like 90% plastic.

91-93 Dodge Cummins diesel with a NV4500 transmission. Bullet proof engine and transmission, the trucks can be found for a good price, pretty good fuel mileage, parts are cheap, and you can pull a house off of its foundation with it. But you can only expect to get about a million miles out of the engine though. The only con I can think of is that they're kind of ugly.
