Default Treadwright Tires

Has anyone bought/used treadwright brand tires? I have found a lot of bad press and reviews on them, but most of it was older reviews, 2008-2012 ish.

They are not the best looking tires but the prices are appealing. Does the old saying "you get what you pay for" stand true for these?

I was looking at the 31 X 10.5 tires.

They are retreats. I've seen only aa few come into the shop and wasn't impressed. I don't think they are great performance wise based on what I saw. But my sample size is small.

31x10.50's are cheap to begin with. Just get a new set of tires and forget worrying.

I figured as much. I'm going with the BFG AT's as planned. Tried and true for me.

There's nothing wrong with retreads, but their prices just aren't worth it. They use obsolete tread patterns to make super heavy tires and charge as much or more than more modern brand new tires that weigh less. There's no longer any good reason to use them in my opinion.
