Does anyone know what the trail rating for a stock 99 cherokee sport?

I was looking for an idea as to what the highest rated trail a stock 99 cherokee sport can tackle.

I think it depends on where you are. Different places probably rate their trails differently. I've been on 2's at one park that would definitely be 3's at another. Offroad tires and 4wd will help but you should probably stick to lower level trails at first unless you are following someone more familiar with the area who can help you work your way up... especially if you don't have a winch.

Are you referring to an off road parks trail ratings like green, blue, black and red?

As far as what your jeep can handle, it depends on a whole lot of factors. Drivers skill/experience, tires, suspension condition, jeep condition, group your running with,

You should be able to handle a green just fine, anything higher will depend on above factors

This is a totally different rating than the little badge that jeep sticks on the side of some of the jeeps which is more of a sales thing than anything else
