Towing package?

Quick question! Will a towing package off of a 1998 grand Cherokee V8 all time 4x4 fit a 1998 jeep Cherokee (xj) 4x4 sport? Any ideas? Thank you!

a hitch is not a towing package... it's just a hitch... towing packages usually include beefier suspension and lower gearing sometimes with a limited slip.

the hitch will not interchange, i was looking for a hitch for my ZJ and all i could find in the junkyard was XJ hitches so i took one and held it up underneath a ZJ in the yard and it wasnt the same.
