Actually, I wanted a black Comanche to match my XJ, I held out till I found one! But I just picked up a 2001 XJ with a blown motor and I am going to do the interior and exterior and engine conversion to the comanche! Same interior and same front end! I have already converted the windshield (actually why I was towing it) to new glass put in with a rubber gasket instead of the chrome trim that was stock.

Also plan on stroking the engine to a 4.7 liter! And of course a new paint job to a nice shiny black!

All in due time!:] my dream for it is to super charge it and build the engine and tune it to as close to 500 horsepower as I can get. I know that sounds crazy but I'm gonna do what I can! This is a long term project to become my dream jeep!
